Answer: 62.832 square cm

Work Shown:

r = 2 = radius

h = 3 = height

SA = surface area of the cylinder

SA = 2*pi*r^2 + 2*pi*r*h

SA = 2*pi*2^2 + 2*pi*2*3

SA = 8pi + 12pi

SA = 20pi ....... exact surface area

SA = 20*3.1415926535898

SA = 62.831853071796

SA = 62.832 ....... approximate surface area
