Problem of the Day step 1: Read and Understand the Problem

In an effort to increase breakfast sales the
pastry shop is offering for a limited time only
"croissant cones". If you slice a cone parallel to
its base into two parts, you get a smaller cone
and a shape called a frustum. Find the volume
of the frustum created when a cone with a
height of 8cm and a radius of 6cm is sliced off a
Icone with a height of 16cm and a radius of
12cm. Explain how you arrived at your answer.
