Answer:

- 1, 2 , 7 and 98

Explanation:

substitute n = 1, 2, 3 into the nth term rule

a₁ = 1² - 2 = 1 - 2 = - 1

a₂ = 2² - 2 = 4 - 2 = 2

a₃ = 3² - 2 = 9 - 2 = 7

the first 3 terms are - 1, 2, 7

substitute n = 10 into the rule

a₁₀ = 10² - 2 = 100 - 2 = 98

the tenth term is 98
