Answer:

The smallest angle is angle Z because the shortest side (6.3 cm) is opposite the smallest angle.

Set your calculator to degree mode.

Using the Law of Cosines:

6.3^2 = 7.2^2 + 8.5^2 - 2(7.2)(8.5)cos(Z)

39.69 = 124.09 - 122.4cos(Z)

-84.4 = -122.4cos(Z)

cos(Z) = 211/306

Z = cos^-1 (211/306) = 46.41°
