I sadly cant submit a pic of the original piece of art but its based on Johannes Vermeer's "Girl with a pearl earring":

In the shimmering light, a fair maiden glows,
A pearl earring dangles from her lobes,
Her eyes are deep, with secrets that flow,
In Vermeer's masterpiece that forever glows.

But hold, what's this upon her crown?
A giant plum, so rich and round,
It sits atop her locks that fall down,
A sight to make one laugh and clown.

And why, oh why, is she so forlorn?
Perhaps she's just tired and worn,
For her pearl seems dull and old and torn,
And her hairdo makes her look forlorn.
