Answer:

To evaluate the function of f(x) for x=-2 we substitute-2 for x in the expression of the function

F(-2)= 20(-2)-4

F (-2)=-40 -4

F(-2) = -44

Therefore f(-2) = -44 when x= - 2

To evaluate the function f(x) for x =8 we substitute 8 for x in the express of the function

F(8)=20(8)-4

F(8) = 160-4

F(8)= 156

Therefore f(8) = 156 when x = 8
