"one good thing deserves another."

Once upon a time, in a small town nestled among rolling hills and tranquil meadows, there lived a young woman named Lily. She was kind-hearted and always went out of her way to help others in need. Her small acts of kindness had won her many friends in the town, and everyone loved her.

One day, as she was walking home from the market, she came across an old man lying by the roadside. The man was weak and hungry, and Lily could see that he needed help. Without a second thought, she took him to her home and provided him with food and shelter. The old man was grateful, and he blessed Lily for her kindness.

A few days later, Lily received an invitation to a grand ball hosted by the town's richest family. She was thrilled to attend the ball and decided to wear her best dress. However, when she reached into her closet, she realized that her dress was torn and needed to be mended.

Feeling disappointed, Lily went to the tailor's shop, hoping to have her dress repaired. But the tailor, who was known for his high prices, quoted an exorbitant sum that Lily couldn't afford.

Just then, the old man whom Lily had helped, happened to pass by the shop. He noticed Lily's predicament and offered to pay for her dress. He said that he wanted to repay her for her kindness.

Lily was taken aback by the old man's generosity, and tears welled up in her eyes. She realized that one good deed deserved another and that kindness always came back to those who practiced it.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Lily attended the ball wearing her beautiful dress, feeling like the belle of the ball. She danced and laughed with her friends, feeling blessed for the wonderful people she had met in her life.

From that day on, Lily made it a point to help others in need, knowing that one good thing deserves another. She lived a long and happy life, spreading kindness and joy wherever she went.
