The difference between passive and interactive entertainment is that passive entertainment is a form of entertainment where the viewer is simply consuming the content without actively engaging in it, while interactive entertainment requires active participation from the viewer.

Passive entertainment includes activities such as watching a movie, television show or listening to music, where the viewer simply sits back and enjoys the content. On the other hand, interactive entertainment involves activities such as video games, board games or sports where the viewer has to actively participate in the activity to take it forward.
