How many real zeros does this following quadratic function have?
f (x) = -x2 - 6x - 7

Answer:

f(x) = -(x^2 + 6x + 7)

x^2 + 6x + 7 = 0

x^2 + 6x + 9 = 2

(x + 3)^2 = 2

x + 3 = +√2

x = -3 + √2

There are two real zeroes.
