URGENT DUE TODAY

1. Mr. Dash bought a used car. He plans to drive it every day to work. The equation to the data is y = 20x + 30,000. How many miles does this car have when Mr. Dash bought it?

1. The number of miles the car travels when Mr. Dash bought it is 30,000

2. It twill take Mr. Dash 10 days to drive 200 miles

3. An equation for the supplementary angle is c + h + g + f = 180

4. The slope is -1

5. An equation for the supplementary angle is 180 = d + c + h + g

How to find the number of miles

1. The number of miles driven before buying the car is solved by substituting x = 0

y = 20(0) + 30,000.

y = 30,000

2. The equation to the data is y = 20x + 30,000.

For y = 200 miles lets solve for x. In this case we ignore the already completed mileage (30,000 miles)

200 = 20x

x = 200 / 20

x = 10

hence 10 days

3. An equation for the supplementary angle is

180 = c + h + g + f

4. The slope of the line is solved as follows

Slope = rise / run

From the graph, we find the slope using points (-2, 4) and (0,2)

rise = 4 - 2 = 2

run = (-2 - 0) = -2

Slope = 2/-2 = -1.

5. An equation for the supplementary angle is

180 = d + c + h + g

Meanwhile, supplementary angle refers to angles that has a sum of 180
