B-DNA is more common than Z-DNA. Z-DNA is typically seen under high salt concentrations or in the presence of certain drugs that induce a left-handed helical structure in DNA. Z-DNA is also associated with certain biological processes such as transcriptional regulation and chromatin remodeling. However, B-DNA is the more common and stable form of DNA found in cells under normal physiological conditions.
