Answer:

y = 4x + 11

Explanation:

the equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

y = 4x + 9 ← is in slope- intercept form

with slope m = 4

• Parallel line have equal slopes , then

y = 4x + c ← is the partial equation of line A

to find c substitute (- 2, 3 ) into the partial equation

3 = 4(- 2) + c = - 8 + c ( add 8 to both sides )

11 = c

y = 4x + 11 ← equation of line A
