Which best explains density and temperature? What increases as you go deeper into the ocean?

Warmer water takes up more space, so it is less dense than cold water.

Answer: A

Cold water has a higher density than warm water. When water gets warmer, thermal expansion occurs which causes the volume of water to increase. Deep water is denser than shallow water.
