Can someone re-write these sentences to use subjunctive mood correctly?

1: If every excuse was money, I would be rich by now.

2: I ask that each student takes responsibility.

1. If every excuse were money, I would be rich by now. (Using the subjunctive mood "were" instead of "was" to express an unreal or hypothetical situation.)

2. I ask that each student take responsibility. (Using the subjunctive mood "take" instead of "takes" to express a request or suggestion.)
