ω = 2 π f = 2 π / P

The second hand makes 1 revolution every 60 sec (P = 60 sec)

ω (second hand) = 2 π / 60 sec = .1047 / sec

The second hand makes 60 revolutions for 1 revolution of the minute hand since the minute hand revolves once every hour
