Answer:

-3x² +7x - 18

Explanation:

Subtraction of expression:

Multiply each term of 5x² - x + 7 by (-1)

2x² + 6x - 11 - (5x² - x + 7) = 2x² + 6x - 11 - 5x² + x - 7

Combine like terms. Like terms have same variable with same exponent.

2x² and (-5x²) are like terms. 2x² - 5x² = -3x²

6x and x are like terms. 6x + x = 7x

-11 and (-7) are constants. -11 - 7= -18

= 2x² - 5x² + 6x + x - 11 - 7

= -3x² + 7x - 18
