f(x) = 3/2x + b

f(2) = 0

Find out what the variable b is.

3/2(2) + b = 0

3 + b = 0

Subtract 3 from both sides.

b = -3

f(-1) = 3/2(-1) - 3

f(-1) = -4.5

-4.5 = -9/2
