Answer:

1. In the first two paragraphs of the flashback, we learn that Daisy was a popular debutante from a wealthy family who lived in Louisville. She was courted by many young men, and Gatsby fell in love with her at that time.

2. Gatsby and Daisy were in the Roadster. This scene was special because it was the first time that Gatsby and Daisy had seen each other in five years.

3. Daisy was prevented from marrying Gatsby because he was poor at the time and could not provide her with the lifestyle to which she was accustomed.

4. The day before Daisy married Tom, she received a letter from Gatsby, and she became very upset. She was seen walking alone in the rain with a white dress on, which symbolized her purity and innocence.

5. Daisy and Tom's marriage was rocky early on, and Tom was unfaithful to her. However, they stayed together and continued to live a lavish lifestyle.
