Can someone tell me how to find the area of a sector in a circle and if you can provide an example

Sector area is a portion of the circle's area.

formula is π r² × x/360°

where x is the central angle.

For example if the radius is 9 and the central angle is 120°.

π · 9² · 120/360

3.14 · 81 · 1/3 = 84.78 units²

or in terms of pi =
(1)/(3) (81π)
