Explanation:

1. we can find the slope of the line using this formula:

(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

y2, y1, x2, x1 are constants from the two coordinates given, so we just plug them into the formula

(-13-19)/(-1-3)

now we evaluate on both ends of the fraction

(-32)/(-4)

simplify

8

the slope is 8

2. we are given a graph which means we can simply count the slope

the slope means:

(rise)/(run)

which is the change in y over the change in x , this means that we can start at a coordinate and count the slope

using this method, we get a slope of 2

3. the slope is the change in y over the change in x. the y values are decreasing by -8 while the x values are increasing by ones

this means our slope is

(-8)/(1)=-8

4. we just have to use the aforementioned slope formula above

(8-(-10))/(0-9)

evaluate

(18)/(-9)

simplify

-2

the slope is -2
