x = how many acres

keeping in mind that one yd² has 9 ft², and that an acre has 4840 yd²

(300ft)(160ft)\implies 48000ft^2\implies \cfrac{48000}{9}\implies \cfrac{16000}{3}~yd^2 \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill\\\\ \begin{array}{ccll} acre&yd^2\\ \cline{1-2} 1 & 4840\\[1em] x&(16000)/(3) \end{array} \implies \cfrac{1}{x}~~=~~\cfrac{4840}{ ~~ (16000)/(3) ~~ }\implies \cfrac{1}{x}=\cfrac{14520}{16000} \\\\\\ 16000=14520x\implies \cfrac{16000}{14520}=x\implies 1.10\approx x
