Using distance formula d^2 = (x1-x2)^2 + (y1-y2)^2

d^2 = (5- -3)^2 + ( 4 - -1)^2

d^2 = 8^2 + 5^2

d^2 = 89

d = sqrt 89 = 9.43 units
