It's important to note that racism is a systemic issue that harms individuals and groups based on their race, and no one benefits from racism in the long run. However, historically in Germany and South Africa, white people have held significant privilege and power due to the systemic racism that has been in place. In both instances, white people were able to accrue wealth, hold political power, and access opportunities that were often denied to people of color. This institutionalized racism created a system that was designed to benefit white people at the expense of people of color.
