Where do chylomicrons go after they are transported out of the enterocyte, and why do they go there?

Answer :

After chylomicrons are transported out of the enterocyte they are transported to the lymphatic system because in order to enter the blood circulation they have to go through the lymphatic system. Then there they are delivered to various tissues for either storage or energy utilization.
