Contractor is doing a construction job. On the Y axis we have 240 ft. On the X axis we can see that it takes 72 hours to get 240ft worth of work done. If labor cost $100 and hour, how much would this project cost for a building size of 900ft? (approximation)

A.24,000
B.27,000
C.38000
D.54000

This project would cost $27,000 (option B) to the contractor for a building size of 900ft.

Given = 240 ft take 72 hours:

240 ft / 72 hours = 900 ft / x hours

Cross-multiplying, we get:

240 ft x x hours = 72 hours x 900 ft

x = (72 hours x 900 ft) / 240 ft

x = 270 hours

So, for a 900 ft project, it would take 270 hours of work.

The cost of the project can be found by multiplying the number of hours by the labor cost per hour:

Cost = hours x labor cost per hour

Cost = 270 hours x $100 per hour

Cost = $27,000
