Describe the chronology of the prisoner's ever-changing torture chamber, starting with pitch-black, when he uses a piece of his robe as a marker to assess its perimeter, all the way to its shrumken, molten form before his rescue.

Certainly. The prisoner began in pitch-black darkness, feeling his way around his confines to determine the limits of his prison. After some time, a dim light flickered on, revealing a small square room with a low ceiling. The walls were made of rough stone, and a single door in one wall was the only exit.

The following day, the room had changed once again. The walls were now lined with sharp spikes, making it impossible for the prisoner to touch them without being injured. The room was filled with a piercing noise, which made it impossible for the prisoner to think or rest. The door was still the only exit, but it was locked.

The prisoner lost track of time, but eventually the room changed once again. The walls were now lined with mirrors, each one reflecting his distorted image back to him. The floor was covered in water, which was electrified and caused painful shocks whenever he moved. The door was still locked, but now the room also had a skylight that let in blinding light.

As the prisoner's torture continued, the room became hotter and smaller. The walls began to close in, and the ceiling began to slowly lower. The spikes returned, lining the walls and the floor. The air was thick with smoke and the intense heat made breathing impossible. Eventually, the walls collapsed inwards, and the room became a molten, fiery hellscape.

The prisoner was rescued moments later, pulled from the brink of death.
