Me: Hello, how can I help you?
Employer: Hi, I need you to do a task that's outside of your job description.
Me: Okay, what task is that?
Employer: We need you to go to the post office and mail some packages for us.
Me: I'm happy to help, but I'm not sure I feel comfortable doing that. I'm not trained on how to handle shipping and mailing, and I'm not sure if I'm qualified to do it.
Employer: It's really simple, we just need you to go to the post office, fill out some forms and pay for postage.
Me: I understand, but I still have some concerns about it. Would it be possible to have someone else handle this task?
Employer: Unfortunately, everyone else is busy with their own tasks right now, and we really need these packages mailed out today. We trust that you can handle it, and we'll provide you with all the necessary instructions.
Me: Alright, I'll do my best to complete the task. But in the future, could you please let me know in advance if you need me to do something that's not part of my job description?
Employer: Of course, I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Thank you for your help.
