The formula for finding the circumference is:

circumference= pi x diameter

The diameter is approximately 3,918 miles.
Pi is approximately 3 (it’s pi to the nearest whole number)

So an estimate for the circumference is:

pi x diameter = circumference
3 x 3918 = 11754

So the estimate for the circumference of the Earth is approximately equal to 11754 miles (i think)

(sorry if i’m wrong!!!!)
