Nutrients are a molecule in all food that organisms need to make energy,grow,reproduce, and develop and do basic human functions in our everyday life.
Carbohydrates gives us quick energy and provides the body with glucose
Fats gives us long term energy and insulation for our bodies
Proteins make our bone structure stronger and to help our body make and repair cells
Vitamins help our body resist some infection and viruses that make us sick and help our body get energy from the food we eat
Minerals build up our bones and teeth
Water helps break down food and carries the nutrients to our cells that need them.
