Can make this pharagraph a bit shorter:

It was just another morning of a regular rainy season in Jordan when I woke up at 6 am to see off my father going to the hospital for work. It was cloudy and dull with some drizzle but everything looked peaceful .By around 8 am, when I was ready to leave home to go to school , I realized that it had been raining heavily for some time now. When I looked out of the window, I watched trees dancing the drains has begun to overflow. As I walked towards the main street, I saw a big traffic jam. I could barely see anything as it was now pouring badly. I waited for the signal to show the walk sign, keeping my raincoat cap from pulling off. It was only a ten-minute walk to my school but the rain was getting worse by the minute. I tried to sit under an umbrella for a store but a tree fell out and broke it . By now, my school uniform was all wet under my raincoat and I had begun to feel cold I struggled to wade through the dirty water and somehow reached my school gate, only to have the worst experience of my life. I was in tears now and wanted to go home to my mother. I pushed myself to the gate and asked the watchman to help me. They had closed the school for the day. I was taken to the staff room and given hot tea and something to eat
It stopped raining late in the evening and when my mother came to pick me up,. Back home, I was treated to my favorite dishes for dinner some medicines for the slight cold and fever I got because of being in the rain for a long. As I lay awake in bed, staring at the ceiling, I realized that I could have avoided the misadventure by thinking about the situation and staying indoors for the day

One rainy morning in Jordan, I woke up early to see my father off to work at the hospital. As I was getting ready to leave for school, I noticed that it was raining heavily and the streets were flooded. Despite the bad weather, I made my way to school, trying to stay dry under my raincoat. However, everything seemed to go wrong as a tree fell on my umbrella and I got soaked. When I arrived at school, I was told that it was closed for the day, and I was taken to the staff room where I was given some hot tea and food. Later that evening, my mother came to pick me up and I was treated to my favorite dishes for dinner. Although I caught a slight cold and fever from being in the rain for too long, I realized that I could have avoided the whole misadventure if I had stayed indoors and thought about the situation more carefully.

  • I woke up at 6 am to see off my father to work. By 8 am, heavy rain caused trees to fall and drains to overflow. I struggled to reach school in a ten-minute walk, only to find it closed due to the weather. I was given tea and food before returning home with a slight cold and fever. In hindsight, I realized I could have avoided the situation by staying indoors.
