Answer:

∴ Speed= distance/time

First speed
S{1} = 80m ÷ 30s

= 2.667
ms^(-1)


S_(1) = 2.7
ms^(-1)

Second speed
S_(2) = 520 m ÷ ( 12×60 )

= 520 m ÷ 720 s

= 0.722
ms^(-1)


S_(2) = 0.7
ms^(-1)

∴ Average Speed = (
S_(1) +
S_(2) ) ÷ 2

S = ( 2.7 + 0.7 ) ÷ 2

S = 3.4 ÷ 2

S = 1.7
ms^(-1)

Result :

The average speed of the person during the entire movement was 1.7
ms^(-1).
