Second speed
`S_(2)` = 520 m ÷ ( 12×60 )

= 520 m ÷ 720 s

= 0.722

`S_(2)` = 0.7
`ms^(-1)`

∴ Average Speed = (
`S_(1)` +
`S_(2)` ) ÷ 2

S = ( 2.7 + 0.7 ) ÷ 2

S = 3.4 ÷ 2

S = 1.7
`ms^(-1)`

Result :

The average speed of the person during the entire movement was 1.7
