Answer:
C=12
A=24

B=3
D=6

Explanation:
so group A is half of the pie which means 48/2 , so group A is 24

and it says that the number of pupils in group B to the number of pupils in group D is 1:2

A/C=C/D= B/D = 1/2
24/C=1/2
c=12

since A/C=C/D= B/D = 1/2
and C=12, then

C/D=1/2
12/D=1/2
D=6

and B/D=1/2
while D is equal to 6 then,
B/6=1/2
B=3

That means there are 24 boys in group A, and there are 3 boys in group B and 12 girls in C, and 6 girls in group D.

hope it helped:)
