a) 8 cm

b) 608 cm²

Explanation:

Part A:

960 = 15 * x * x

960 = 15x²

x² = 64

x = 8

Part B:

The prism consists of two square and four rectangles

A = 2(8²) + 4(15 * 8)

A = 2(64) + 4(120)

A = 128 + 480

A = 608
