Answer:

A few of the ways I have previously read course material are comparable to the SQ3R technique, but there are also some significant distinctions. The method entails scanning the text, considering what you need to know, reading the material carefully, repeating key points, and constantly reviewing it. Similar to how I used to read, I usually begin by scanning the text, focusing on headings, subheadings, and any words in bold or italics to get a sense of what the book will cover. Though I haven't always done it in the past, the SQ3R technique points out the importance of engaging and actively interacting with information while repeating or revisiting.

Step-by-step explanation:

The SQ3R method has a strong emphasis on asking questions, which sets apart from my other reading strategies. While I've done it previously, I didn't always make an attempt to ask questions. The SQ3R technique also points out the significance of studying and reciting material, which is something I haven't always done regularly in the past. Those actions may help people learn and increase information retention.

Generally, relative to some of my previous methods, the SQ3R method takes a more ordered and intentional approach to reading. It promotes active engagement with both the knowledge through repeating, questioning, and reviewing, which may improve understanding and memory of the content.
