Why are personnel evaluations so important? Is it possible that someone could be leniently rated through the years, slip through the cracks, and then become a problem later on? Have you ever worked with someone that has been "passed along," and it showed in their performance? This could also apply to a student that has "passed" through courses undeservedly by lenient instructors.

Answer: this is a very good question but seldom ask.

Explanation: Employee performance, personnel evaluations are all important because these types of employees rethink their performance in terms of how they are contributing to the greater good, and it is a very important part of maintaining a healthy workspace and cultivating a culture of openings, because when poorly handled, employee performance evaluations can feel like busywork, it causes stress in the workplace and even instills fear in workers. This makes it difficult for some employers to be hesitant to adopt all of them. So, evaluation is critical; it is the first step toward creating a better work atmosphere that is also comfortable, which I am sure everyone would prefer to work in. I've seen people who have been passed on it wasn't always by choice but sometime by force because we sympathize and empathize with them, I believe it's in a human nature to care and love regardless.
