This line is proportional. I know because it is a straight line going through the origin (0,0). I only need to find the slope. In a proportional relationship, the slope is any point on the line put in the form
(y)/(x). You could use the point on the line (1,1) or (2,2) or (3,3) or any other point on the line. If I put this in the form
(y)/(x), I will always get
(1)/(1) which simplifies to 1.

y = mx The slope is 1

y = 1x which is the same as y = x

B:

No matter what x is, y will be -2

y = -2
