Answer: P(100) will be the profit from selling 100 bars

P(100) = 4.5*(100) - 40 = ........

P(n) = 230 = 4.5 (n) - 40

270 = 4.5 n

n = 270 / 4.5 = .......

P(n) = 230 means after selling 'n' bars the profit is 230

Explanation:

P(100) will be the profit from selling 100 bars

P(100) = 4.5*(100) - 40 = ........

P(n) = 230 = 4.5 (n) - 40

270 = 4.5 n

n = 270 / 4.5 = .......

P(n) = 230 means after selling 'n' bars the profit is 230
