They were out their due to their race/religion.
Their basic human rights were violated.
Differences:
In concentration camps, prisoners were starved and killed.
Internment camps were put in place to stop potential espionage, whereas the concentration camps were meant to kill and suppress the Jewish people.
Concentration camps ripped family’s apart, whereas interment camps did not break up families.
