The tank is 3/4 full, which is equivalent to 6/8 or 9/12.

The system pumps out 1/8 of a tank per week, which is equivalent to 3/24.

In 5 weeks, the system will pump out a total of 5 x 3/24 = 15/24 of the tank.

Subtracting 15/24 from the original amount of 9/12, we get:

9/12 - 15/24 = 18/24 - 15/24 = 3/24

Therefore, there will be 3/24 or 1/8 of the tank left when you return.
