simplifying,


x = \left( -(1)/(4) -(2)/(4)\right) / \left( - (2)/(9) \right) (changed the base)


x = \left( -(3)/(4)\right) / \left( - (2)/(9) \right)

therefore,


x =(27)/(8) (canceled negative sign and used division rule for fractions)
