For the logarithm to be positive, the argument of the logarithm (i.e., 2x+c) must be greater than zero.

Solve the inequality 2x+c > 0 for x:

2x > -c

x > -c/2

Therefore, for x > -c/2, the logarithm Y=log(2x+c) will be positive.
