Median of a group of 20 distinct numbers was

found to be 55. If largest 8 numbers are increased by 10, then what is the median of the new group?

The median basically means the average of the tenth and eleventh numbers as if the 20 numbers were "cut in half" to find the number in the middle. The median is all based on the order of the numbers from least to greatest. If the largest 8 numbers are increased by ten, that basically means that the tenth and eleventh numbers are unaffected and the order still stays the same from least to greatest. The median would still be 55.
