Their cooperative organization makes it easier for each cell to meet those necessities. The systems of the organism work together to create an internal environment where nutrients are delivered to each cell for building materials and energy, and where waste is carried away so it doesn't build up in and around cells.

in a living thing with many cells, different parts work together to keep the body working properly. For example, the breathing system brings in air and gets rid of waste, the blood system carries important things like oxygen and food to all the cells, and the immune system fights sickness. If one part isn't working right, it can affect everything else. But the body can adjust to some problems to try and keep things working as normal. This is called "homeostasis." But if there's a big problem or it goes on for too long, it can make the body sick or even cause it to stop working altogether. So it's important to take care of the whole body and fix any problems quickly.
