Answer:

y > 3x - 1

set y = 0

0 > 3x - 1

x > 1/3

points are [ 1/3,0]

set x = 0

y > 3(0) - 1

y > - 1

points are [0,-1]

second question

x + y ≤ - 2

set x = 0

y ≤ - 2

points are [0,-2]

set y = 0

x ≤ - 2

points are [-2,0]

So therefore A should be shaded.
