2x²+x-28 = 0

2x²+8x-7x-28 =0

2x(x+4) -7(x+4) =0

(x+4)(2x-7) = 0

x = -4 and 7/2

dimensions can't be negative

length=1+2×7/2 =1+7 = 8ft

width= 7/2ft
