Answer:
Interview Questions: Protagonist
In 2-3 sentences, tell me about yourself.
My name is Devika and I am the only child. I do not like being ignored in any way and I won't hesitate to speak up for myself when I'm being talked down on.
What was your climax, when you had to make a decision, or you reached your turning point?
Well, it was the scene where my parents were suggesting that I fake-date one of my "friends" to impress the media and then later on marry them for a year. I had to go against their wishes to fulfill mine. It was a difficult decision at first because this is the first time that I had ever decided on something that I didn't want to do. I choose a path for myself and I am living the dream.
How did the setting of the story affect you?
Well if I had to think about it, it had me see other people in a different light, a light that once before was very dim.
Interview Questions: Antagonist
In 2-3 sentences, tell me about yourself.
My name is Talia and the only importance I have in this novel is to make Devika's life harder than it already is.
What problem(s) did you create for the protagonist?
She doesn't know yet but, I convinced my parents to go on a much-needed vacation so that they would have no choice but to send me to someone else to stay. I got to pick the home that I wanted to stay in which was Devika's. Her mother was very opened armed and welcoming, though I don't think I can say the same about Devika herself. She gave me a good old slap to prove it too. The only reason I wanted to be there was so that I can be a pain to Devika and help her mother keep her in check and there is no one more suitable for the job than me.
Interview Questions: Author
In 5-7 sentences, tell me what your narrative is about.
It's about a teenage girl going through phases, human ones, and not-so-human ones. Readers get to watch as she makes decisions and choices, while also experiencing different emotions and feelings that are new to her.
What are two themes in your narrative? How did you develop them?
Right now I only have one; Learning to forgive and give second chances to those who are worthy. I too had to learn this, it's okay to forgive people and give them second chances because not everyone deserves a second chance but some do, you just have to figure that part out. You can always forgive but you will never forget.
Tell me about a symbol that's present in your narrative.
I am not sure if this is what you are talking about but the symbol would be The Ankh which is the symbol of life, death, and rebirth.
Which archetype(s) appears in your narrative?
How would you describe the mood of your narrative?
I would say that it's exciting and has that sort of fantasy vibe to it.
