Answer: D: The range will increase by 1 mile.

Explanation:

The current range is solved by doing the highest number minus the lowest number, so 7-4. The current range would therefore be 3.

The miles on Monday and Tuesday have been increased by 1 mile, from 4 miles to 5 miles.

The miles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday have been increased by 2 miles, from 7 miles to 9 miles.

You subtract the new values: 9 miles - 5 miles = 4 miles

And subtract your new values from your old range: 4 miles - 3 miles = 1 mile

The range would therefore increase by 1 mile.

Answer:

the answer is d

Explanation:

before the increase the range is three with the lowest number being four and the highest 7

where as after the increase the lowest value is 5 and the highest nine giving us a range of four

four minis three is one therefore the range increases by one mile
