Clause 2: President's Function
Before becoming law, every bill that has passed both the House of Representatives and the Senate must first be presented to the President of the United States. If he approves, he will sign the bill; otherwise, he will send it back with his objections to the original House, which will record the objections in full on their journal and then reconsider it. The Bill will be sent, along with the objections, to the other House for reconsideration. If approved by two thirds of that House after such reconsideration, it will become law.
