(cost +sin t)² = cost² + 2sintcost+sint²

simplifying these = 2(cost²+sint²)= 2

2 will divide with 2 giving 1

çost²+sint²=1

substituting cost²= 1-sint² in above equation

1-sint²+sint²=1

giving us 1=1
