The mass of 11.2 litres of a certain gas at s.t.p. is 24 g. The gram molecular mass of the gas is 24g×
11.2L
22.4L/mol
=48g/mol
Note: At s.t.p., 1 mole of any gas occupies a volume of 22.4 L.
